Upcoming Expungement Events in Vermont

Our legal help website at VTLawHelp.org has detailed information about expunging and sealing your criminal records. From time to time we also have information on upcoming expungement events. They now include:

• See if the Attorney General’s Office is holding an expungement clinic soon.
• The Root Social Justice Center and Vermont Legal Aid are partnering to provide BIPOC expungement clinics. These clinics will focus on Vermont criminal record expungements for Black, Indigenous and People of Color. The clinics will be held in person at The Root in Brattleboro, Vt., with an BIPOC-identifying attorney. The events are on the last Thursday of every month through December 2023, from 2:30 - 6 p.m. Appointments are preferred, but drop-ins are welcome if there is space.
